The Community of Communes of Granville Terre et Mer exercises, as part of its optional powers, those of public reading and music education.

These two optional competences are not intended to be extended at this stage. However, the inter-municipal association wishes to initiate a reflection to clarify its role of coordination and facilitation with the municipalities that found it and the associative actors of its territory.

The Granville Terre et Mer community of municipalities also wishes to engage in strategic reflection to bring out a territorial cultural project co-constructed with the municipalities and associative actors in its area of intervention.
